London

When a friend's wedding sent us packing our bags for London, we were not mad to have an excuse to go.

I had only been while I was on a backpacking trip in college (very different experience than trips for weddings in your 30s) and my husband had never been but always wanted to go.

The city has great vibes, old buildings & architecture, beautiful parks, kind people, an impressive food & drinks scene and coffee to boot. All wins in our book. Although due to the 4 days of snow we got, we ended up staying indoors most of the time at coffee shops, restaurants, and museums.

We stayed in the Soho area at an AirBnb and loved being in such a central and fun part of town although we did venture out to other neighborhoods, Shoreditch being our fave.

London quickly jumped up my list of favorite cities and I plan on returning soon and often.
